According to a newly posted page on the site of Best Buy-Canada, the iPhone is coming to Canada.

It make sense for Best Buy to sell the iPhone in Canada as Apple only has four stores up in the ‘Great White North’. Three are in the Toronto region, and one is in suburban Montreal. So the Best Buy-Canada iPhone availability could be a move by Apple to extend their retail reach from their own few stores to the 48 Best Buy stores throughout Canada.

However, the most pieces of important information are still unknown. Although Rogers Wireless is the only regional carrier with an iPhone-compatible GSM network, there’s no mention of them on the site; nor is there any thing about the availability or pricing. It is possible that the website posting is merely an attempt to capitalize on the buzz generated by the Apple device thus far.

All we Canadians can do now is just sit, wait and envy our American neighbors.
