As a final farewell to the building that housed 30 years worth of exhibition space and art classes, local Houston artists Dan Havel and Dean Ruck turned it into an art installation known as “Inversion”. Using boards from the house itself, they created a large funnel-like vortex running through the building that ends in a small hole in an adjacent courtyard.

If you were planning on making a trip to catch this piece of art, you’ll be out of luck. The public opening was held on May 21st and was demolished early June. But there’s nothing stopping you from doing this to your own home.
