In addition to the S500i announced earlier today in London, Sony Ericsson is releasing the T650, spiritual successor to the company’s popular T610 candybar. This tri-band GSM/GPRS 3G phone packs a 3.2 megapixel camera, email, RSS feeds, Bluetooth 2.0 stereo support, MP3/AAC support, a 262k color QVGA display, and a Memory Stick Micro M2 card slot for expansion within its 12.5mm thick shell.

New to this phone is the 1.9-inch screen is covered with a layer of mineral glass, which will apparently make the colors pop, increase the viewing angle, and protect it from scratches when you put your phone in the same pocket as your keys.

Like the S500, there’s no word on pricing and is being released Q3 of this year, but it seems unlikely that it will reach North America due to its lack of support for the North American 850MHz GSM band.
