Between this incident last week, contaminated pet food, unsafe cars and their recent lead paint fiasco, I’m not surprise that satire such as this surfaces on the internet.

In Beijing’s defense, the symbol is the Chinese character, 京, pronounced “Jing” as in Beijing (北京), and means capital.

Boy, how times have changed. Take a look at the 1 GB drive that IBM first built 20 years ago in comparison to what 1 GB is nowadays. This hard drive was on display in the museum of computing, a part of a computer and modern communications festival held in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. Click on the image for a bigger picture.

Samsung’s Armani phone

LG did Prada, Motorola did Dolce & Gabbana, apparently the sleek Samsung SGH-P520 is the new Armani Phone.

This 2.5G GMS/EDGE designer phone measures a mere 8.9mm thick and is about the size of a credit card. Yet, within its tiny frame holds a 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi with Bluetooth, UMA, 50MB built-in memory with a MicroSD expansion slot, and of course, the must-have 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen.

Estimated to be around 400 Euros (560 US$), the Armani SGH-P520 will be released in Europe and Russia by the end of the year.

LEGO Gundam – Direct from Japan

Though not officially LEGO sanctioned, you can now quench that urge to build your own Gundam mobile suit by buying one of these new model kits from the Rinkya online store. Each one is a about a foot tall and can be made out of 700 individual pieces. For 8,925 yen, you can choose between RX-78-2 Gundam, MS-06S Zaku II, or MS-06F Zaku II. Check out more pics here.

Halo 3 isn’t even out, and the ending has been leaked on YouTube thanks to some guy who was able to get a copy off eBay prior to launch. This video contains MAJOR SPOILER for those serious Halo fans, and since you haven’t even played through the game yet, you shouldn’t watch it. I know this shouldn’t even be posted, but I feel like sharing. Don’t blame me for ruining it since I’m not in anyway forcing you to watch this video. It’s all up to you, so any complaints about it is a result of you being a stupid moron.

John Rambo is back

Stallone is back in combat boots for Rambo IV, currently titled John Rambo. The second official trailer was just release and from what I can gather it’s all: Wheeze, ARRRG, AGGG, GRUNT, BOOOOOOOM, KWAI LOOOO, ratatatatata, BLAM! mixed in between all the death, destruction, and mayhem. Typical Rambo, but I am still gonna go see this geriatric dude kick ass.
